Which looks more natural

I have a multi-talented kid. Which one looks more natural on her, or maybe she doesn't have to choose.

Its a Wonderful Life

I am easily impressed, but this is really something huge for me! You all know my constant fight with taking good photos of my artwork...I complain about it all the time. I have no way to edit them on my computer. Well, my wonderful mom told me about this wonderful tool online that is FREE! Now, I can edit my pictures to make them look like the real thing. I am so ecstatic!

And, you can edit any pictures from anywhere. the site is called picnik

Check out my new work (now that I have edited it).

I am so happy.

Better Pictures

I always have awful pictures. But, my client took her own pictures last week when I did a mural on her wall. I just saw the pictures, and I think they are so much better than mine. So, here is the link to my mural on her blog.

Thanks Snellycat.

Dry Lilies

Finally, a dry, good picture of the lilies. I posted this picture a few weeks back, but it was wet, and had just crashed with my easel.

This was a Christmas present for someones fiance. I got an update after Christmas that she loved it and it made her cry. That might be the best reaction an artist can get.

New Years Mural

This is my latest [finished] work.

Before picture.
The wall is about 20ft. (tall) by 12ft (wide) with added smears all over the bottom. That was the "inspiration" to get a mural on there.

After Picture:
I am hoping to get a better picture soon, but this will suffice.
The basic tree is a few shades lighter than the wall. Then I added some highlights and some green (same green as the kitchen) to the trunk of the tree to add depth.

I also hung shelves - its a big wall.

I really enjoyed doing this mural. Almost all commissioned works I do are very detailed and/or realistic, so the change in style and a chance to be less methodical was fun. ;)
